Meet Paul and Sheryl Shard, a Canadian couple who set sail from Lake Ontario with a dream of sailing south when we were in our early 30’s. They have been sailing the world full-time and have lived aboard since 1989. They have learned a lot sailing to “distant shores” on 5 continents over 26 years of international cruising. Plus putting 100,000 miles under the keel and doing 7 ocean crossings during that time will makes them a power sailing couple living the dream.
They have been making TV shows and living this dream since the 90s. With a ton of killer content on their YouTube videos and blog. Furthermore, they are also bestselling authors and award-winning filmmakers, Paul and Sheryl Shard, are known to worldwide viewing audiences. They are fun-loving and adventurous hosts of the Distant Shores sailing adventure TV series which airs in Europe on the Nautical Channel as well as in the USA on AWE TV.
